Alberta university professor Graham Plastow visited Food IT-Solutions

Endless possibilities, adaptable by necessity of the customer

Willy Goossens, CEO of Food IT-Solutions proudly introduced prof. Graham to the Food IT-Solutions team and presented its IC-trace software, which is an all-in-one solution to manage, automate and trace every aspect of food production and distribution.

After this intense initiation, it was time to see some onsite action! Several customers were visited in different application areas: fresh meat production - food production - slaughterhouses. In this way Graham gained a complete overview of the different businesses in the meat chain.

“Sparring occasions followed each other, proving the opportunities for adding value with imaging technology and advanced software solutions on the related issues of livestock farming”, according to Prof. Graham.

The awareness of natural meat

To top Grahams visit all off, we had a meeting with Wim Coomans, CEO of Coomans Trade Import. A primary international meat importer of north and south American high quality meat, and also a Food IT-Solutions customer and IC-trace user. His experience about foreign quality meat and its qualifications is a favorable contribution to the development of Alpha Phenomics.
